Dr. Raquel Brentson, who leads the team here, says connection is at the heart of everything they do. “As busy as our practice is, we definitely want to connect with our patients and make sure everyone feels special and important – because they are to us.”
Before joining Smile Straight, Dr. Brentson served on active duty in the military as both a dentist and an orthodontist. “I’ve been practicing for over 11 years,” she shared. “I started out serving on active duty in the military as both a dentist and an orthodontist. I moved back to El Paso in 2021 to finish my service, and I’ve been with Smile Straight Orthodontics for about a year and a half now.”
So what happens when you visit? Patients start with a full exam to make sure their teeth are healthy before jumping into orthodontic treatment. From there, options are tailored to each person’s needs.
From full comprehensive treatments – which may include extractions, expansions, jaw surgery to more limited treatments, Smile Straight is equipped to handle it all.
Smile Straight also offers traditional braces to Invisalign clear aligners (which Dr. Brentson wears herself!)
