Calvary’s Brady Martinez topped 14 additional athletes from 14 North Louisiana football teams to win the annual 2025-26 Times football Athlete of the Week poll for Week 3 in the Raising Cane’ Raising Cane’s, Cosse and Silmon Orthodontics and the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission sponsored event.
Martinez and his fans accumulated 3,846 votes, 41.7% of the 9,222 votes cast in the poll that ran for a week at Shreveporttimes.com. Finishing second with a strong performance was Woodlawn’s Semaj Snow-Smart who notched an impressive 2,015 votes (21%).

Martinez will be presented a sports backpack with a Raising Cane’s boxed lunch gift card and some swag courtesy of Raising Cane’s, Cosse and Silmon Orthodontics, the Shreveport-Bossier Sports Commission and The Times.

Calvary’s Brady Martinez is a Shreveport Times Athlete of the Week.
Martinez has been a solid performer for the Cavaliers who have run their 2025 record to 3-1 after topping D’Arbonne Woods this past Friday.
“Brady is a great kid who has a bright future as a tight end for us,” Calvary coach Rodney Guin said.
