TULSA, Okla. — Catholic Charities of eastern Oklahoma (CCEOK) celebrated its new dental clinic on Tuesday.
“Today we’re here to celebrate the expansion of our dental clinic here at Catholic charities,” said Lauren Landwerlin, President of Ascension St. John Foundation and a member of the Board for Catholic Charities. “It’s a great high dignity, high quality, charitable dental program available to the community.”
The dental clinic gives free dental care to Oklahomans in need, regardless of insurance. The clinic now has new equipment, expanded staff, and an overall upgraded facility allowing them to serve more people.
“Finding charitable dental care in Tulsa is sometimes a struggle and our mission at Catholic Charities is to [give] Christ-[like] merciful love to those who suffer,” said Landwerlin. “I think this clinic is really a beautiful expression of our ministry and our mission.”
