RCTC and WSU program offers free health services for veterans – ABC 6 News

(ABC 6 News) – Two southeast Minnesota colleges are partnering to offer free dental and wellness services to veterans on Tuesday, October 21st.

It’s thanks to a partnership between Rochester Community and Technical College, Winona State University, and the 3rd District American Legion Auxiliary.

Students in RCTC’s Dental Hygiene program are offering free cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and exams. Meanwhile, students from WSU’s Bridges Health is veterans with resources for housing, food, and preventative care. Free dental kits are also being provided by 3rd District Auxiliary Juniors.

All active, reserve, and retired military personnel are invited to take advantage of these services. That includes anyone who served in the military.

The services are available at the RCTC Dental Hygiene Clinic at the Heintz Center. They will be available again on October 28th and November 4th.
